Laddertube is an innovative new ladder designed to be used in underground mines as an escapeway or travelway. It is designed to be installed in 1m diameter raisebored rises, however it can be installed in larger rises as well as blasted excavations.

The Safescape Laddertube product is essentially a series of ladder sections joined to provide a straight line of ladder of any practical length to be used in underground mines as escapeway ladders and stope access ladderways.

Safescape Laddertube is made from resilient plastics material and creates a fully enclosed tube which does not allow ingress of water, dirt and rock. The key benefits of Laddertube over steel caged ladderways are:

Compared to galvanized steel ladders which normally require a Crane and Integrated Tool Carrier for installation.
